Join us for the 4th Annual Curtis Park Ice Festival Saturday, January 31st from 2pm-4pm at the Stout Street Children's Park (25th and Stout Street).

The ice festival has become an annual tradition for the neighborhood. And it's back again this year, packed with fun. This year we'll have Ice Sculptures, Winter Games, Cupcakes & Healthy Treats for children of all ages!

On Saturday, May 31st, we will be celebrating the re-opening of Sonny Lawson Park.  For the event lots of different community groups are bringing what they have to offer to the park.  We'd love to have you come and join us and enjoy the afternoon.  

The event will go from 1pm to 3pm and will feature, among other things, dance performances from WonderBound and Cleo Parker Robinson, Live Music from Montessori Academy, Face painting and balloon art for kids, information on homeless services and advocacy, Mile High United Way, Solar demonstrations, Hot Dogs, Community Art, Chess and Ping Pong and more....

Councilman Albus Brooks will speak at 1pm followed by dance performances from Cleo Parker Robinson and WonderBound.  Live music will follow that and there will be lots to do throughout the afternoon.
